Robot Chicken’s DC Special wins an ANNIE Award!

This year marked the 40th Annual Annie Awards for animation in film and television. Robot Chicken won in “Best General Audience Television Production” for their DC Comics special, which I was lucky enough to voice a few roles for. It was a fun night of spending time with many of my favorite people and friends in the animation world. One of my favorite movies last year was “Wreck it Ralph”, and I was delighted to see it five awards, including “Best Feature”. Congrats to everyone who won. LA Weekly’s Best of 2011!! Best Online Video: “Geek and Gamer Girls”

We won an award for G33K & G4M3R Girls!! So cool. Thank you LA Weekly for your continued support.

By Liz Ohanesian:

“Who says girls can’t be geeks? This parody of “California Gurls” riffs on virtually every inside joke of the fan convention world in a way that could only be done by people who have spent a lot of time at San Diego Comic-Con. Team Unicorn has gone on to produce a number of fine videos steeped in geek humor, but this one propelled them to Internet fame.”
